Arkansas Sloppy Joe
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
1/2 of a medium size onion finely chopped
1/2 of a bell pepper finely chopped
3 teaspoons Me and McGee Market Black Garlic Seasoning
3 tablespoons Sarah’s Smoked Specialties BBQ Rub
2 tablespoons Delta Pit BBQ Sauce
3/4 cup Danny Brown’s Renown BBQ Sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup water.
Directions: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, sautee peppers and onions. Add Me and MeGee Market Black Garlic Seasoning and cook peppers and onions until tender. (About 5-7 minutes). Add beef and BBQ rub and brown breaking the beef apart. Once browned, strain fat if desired and add both BBQ sauces and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10-20 minutes or until thickened. Enjoy with crackers, on a bun, or with a fork!
